Keep it easy with these simple but delicious recipes with La Sierra beans.

Beans Dip.


Ingredients:

1 can of La Sierra® Refried Beans
1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/2 chopped onion
1 garlic clove minced
3 cups of cheddar or manchego cheese
1/2 cup jalapeno peppers
Tortilla chips

Method:

In a saucepan add oil, onion, garlic, salt and beans. When it's hot, add cheese, jalapenos and a little water depending on the thickness you want. Once the cheese is melted, put the dip in a container and decorate with the chips.



Mexican Chilli Beans.


Ingredients:

1 can of La Sierra® Whole Beans
2 tablespoons olive oil
500 gr of ground beef
50 gr of chorizo
2 red bell peppers, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 cup of tomato, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper

Method:

Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan, add 50 grams of chorizo and 500 grams of ground beef and cook. Add the chopped red peppers, carrots, onion, tomato, and jalapeño pepper. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the can of La Sierra® beans. Boil for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Enjoy it with some tostadas or nachos.

Tortilla Soup With Black Beans.


Ingredients:

2 cans of La Sierra® Black Beans
4 red tomatoes
1 small canned chipotle chili
1 cup of red onion
1 red bell pepper
1 cup of corn kernels
avocado
cilantro

Method:

Boil the tomatoes and then blend them with the chipotle. In a saucepan, season the olive oil, onion, garlic, pepper, corn and the tomato mixture over low heat, add beans and cilantro. Serve in a deep plate with well-toasted tortilla chips, fresh coriander and red onion.



Charro Beans.


Ingredients:

2 cans of La Sierra® Whole Beans
1 cup bacon
1 cup of chorizo
1 cup sausage, diced
1 chopped onion
3 chopped jalapeno peppers
1/2 cups of pork rinds
1/4 cups fresh coriander

Method:

Heat a deep pot over medium heat and fry the bacon with the chorizo until cooked. Add the onion, then the garlic, sausage, jalapeno peppers, and beans. Cook for 10 minutes. Add the pork rinds and fresh cilantro and enjoy.
